I have been the owner of HLG since 1988. I am thankful that our clients have been supportive of our services and the efforts we put in to constantly improving. I am fortunate to have worked with great people over the years, that we have a team of employees that I am very proud to be involved with.As a team we have the ability to make a difference for our clients. At HLG we have a great group of professional people who CARE, thank you for everything and allowing us to serve you. We are very proud of the work we do as well as our support of community Sports Teams, events, and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Center.

Troy Sadorsky - Operations Manager
Part of the Hansen Team since 1999

As operations manager at HLG I am responsible for all day to day goings on. Every job that is done I have scheduled, dispatched, purchased the materials, and directed the crews in what they are supposed to do. I am in charge of our fleet of trucks and equipment, making sure it is maintained, and the staff is properly trained on them. I started as a laborer and worked my way up to were I am today. Before coming here I was a professional chef for eleven years, then one day I decided I wanted to work outside, and the rest is history. I love coming to work every day because of the challenge of the job, the incredible co-workers, and the client interaction. Also being a cancer survivor myself I am proud of the work HLG does for the Cancer center every year.

Mike Reid - Landscape Manager
Part of the Hansen Team since 2001

As Landscape Manager I oversee all landscape construction from design to completion. I started as a foreman at Hansen in 2001, and have the advantage of having worked every position here; this gives the me the ability to be able to look at projects from all angles. With the help of my team, I work diligently to ensure that client's receive everything they dreamed of for their property when we first envisioned the design. I am always seeking new knowledge, and I am currently an ICPI certified installer and am in the final phase of completing my Certified Landscape Designer qualifications. What I most enjoy about my job, is creating new landscapes and modifying older landscapes in order to help our clients make the outside of their property as much a part of their home as their house is.

Emma McQueen - Office Manager

As the Office Manager I oversee the administration of service at Hansen. It is a joy to be part of a dynamic team that all work towards the goal of providing superior customer service. I am here to make sure that any questions our customers have with regards to billing and services are answered quickly. It is our wonderful clients that make my job so enjoyable, and I take great pleasure in the friendly relationships I have developed with so many of our clients. I am so proud to be part of the Hansen team not only because of the great service we provide but also because of the excellent work we do for our community; from putting on the annual Let's Take a Swing at Cancer tournament to the countless sponsorships and donations HLG makes to our communities youth. I am always happy to help with any questions about Hansen Lawn & Gardens Ltd!

 

Pam Howard - Head Gardener
Part of the Hansen Team since 2006

Pam is our resident head gardener, and a Horticultural Technician who graduated from Algonquin College. Pam has been a dedicated Hansen employee since 2006. Her enthusiasm and vast knowledge base has made her a Hansen client favourite. Pam's commitment to her work and to providing customer's with great customer service make her a valuable member of the Hansen Lawn & Gardens team.
